Some people are trying their bestest to be nice to the others. Going an extra mile in order give better service or provide a more extencive help. Those people are not too numerous, but they exist, but then sometimes not only your help is not appreciated, but you are considered to be stupid and you are taken advantage of...
It seems like one needs to follow new rules:
- Do what you are told and if you are not told do not do
- Problems that do not end up at your table are not your problems
- Follow the procedure no matter whether you are wasting your time, energy, efforts and motivation
- Do not try to find sollutions, when you are not responsible for the problem
I am sure many of us could add to this list, but then again, I used to carry a good quote from Mother Theresa in my wallet that goes like this: "If you judge people, you have no time to love them."
